It doesn't take a genius to enjoy a good book.

Basic Info
Name:Dumb Books
Bio
For as long as I can remember, I've loved to read and get others excited about reading too, which is probably one of the reasons I'm a librarian. One of my favorite parts of working with books is getting to share my favorite books with people and hear what their favorite books are. This blog is my attempt to make a more permanent record of that.

The name comes from a long running joke in which I became known as "the dumb one". However being dumb doesn't mean you can't enjoy a good book, so I try to review a wide range of books to appeal to many tastes. I tend to get bored reading the same kind of things over and over again, so there's a lot of variety here. A few things that recur are postings of various reading lists (i.e. books you're supposed to read), Romance Roundups (group reviews of paperback romances), and other random things that I go on temporary kicks about. Also, my reading resolution for 2009 is to finish some of the many series that I've begun and am dying to know how they end.
